Todays study task was to redesign a menu. I got this menu from google for a fish bar.
I wanted to give the menu a more luxury feel as people will link this to better quality food, to do this I used a Caslon a Serif font as to me this implies luxury. I did not want it to have a old english feel however I wanted to keep it sleek and contemporary to enforce this I used Bebas neua a Bold San-Serif font that to me suggests 'trendy'. I also used a whale illustration to suggest a fish bar instantly this could then also be carried on to the rest of the menu and possible used as an icon.
