For this brief I really wanted to highlight on experimentation. After being inspired by Mr smith's interview writhing print isn't dead. I decided to get into the print room and get using the equipment. I started with letter press, the pieces defiantly looked nice however for me that really lacked personality something I feel is very relavant for the artists tame impala. I wanted something which really stood out now I guess these could be used in juxtaposition as I'm sure neverly everyone will be using loud colours and over the top graphics. So this could be a nice opposite while still containing a relevant message. The only thing with this is it's not necessarily what I was aiming to achieve, I wanted to play with colour within this project. I tested these on a few differ paper types, cartalidge paper, standard glossy card and black card. None was really what I was looking for in the end. Next I will be attempting a screen print.
