OUGD406 - Studio Brief 1 - Feedback

From my crit feedback today I learnt some new ideas and techniques I could use, One being the use of coloured clay this I really liked and is something I defiantly will experiment with. It has a petty feel to it, someone has gone out there way to make a point using something known to be for children. I would create typography saying 'Fuck Trevor'. He is mentioned throughout the song. I would also like to play around with characters etc. My most helpful feedback was to take a step back and take the project into a new direction, currently I have been taking heavy influence from the music video of Tame Impala. John pointed out to me that this is somebody else's interpretation of the song and that I should be making my own interpretation. I was originally curious about this but did think it was more a influence however this reasserted me that I should be creating more original content. So I plan to research a bit more into the brand and album as well as artists and books.
