OUGD405 - Studio Brief 2 - Stocks Used

From G F smith I ordered a range of diffrent stocks to try out. Firstly I want to try out using vibrant colours, pinks, blues, reds etc. The aim of the brights colours would to be to catch people's attention it   will keep peoples gaze. Escationaly if these are left on the floor or on the side people will notice them much easier than a plain colour hopefully leading them to be more inquizatince about it, then picking it up and giving it a read. Having them a varied amount of colours also adds to the unique next of each piece something I would like to achieve to prevent them being discarded of immediately. Secondly I ordered a varied of off white and tanned papers, I wanted this to represent tar and dirt, from the cigarettes themselves. giving people a negative feeling about the paper. The final few i ordered have effects on which look like smoke so the paper will literally represent smoke from ciggerrette. All these keep the consumer on the topic all smoking throughout the whole leaflet where as bright colours may take any slight from it. However I will not know till these have been tested onto the paper.
